Roblox – a universe made up of hundreds of games used primarily by children under 11 years old. It has a social aspect to it, with children able to play alongside their friends. It’s free to play, but added extras cost a virtual game currency called Robux. Games within the universe are made by players themselves who earn money dependent on the popularity of their game. The company’s accounting method means its sales look lower than they actually are, so use bookings as the metric for sales here (rather than the sales number reported on the financial statements). It’s not public yet, but will be in January 2021.
